Life Medical Centre is a Private Billing practice, with Bulk Billing exceptions at each Doctor's discretion. Private Fees carry the same GAP charge regardless of appointment length.

*Those holding a Concession Card will be billed a reduced gap of $30. Limited Bulk Billing for non-concession card holders may be available at the doctors’ discretion in specific instances

Our Patient Care Team are happy to process your Medicare Rebate on your behalf, and this is often reconciled into your nominated account within 24 hours of your appointment.

Life Medical Centre may refer you to specialists and allied health providers internally and externally, who charge private fees. When possible, your GP will advise of any out of pocket expenses, though we en courage the patient to confirm these expenses at the time of booking.

Cancellation Policy

If you fail to attend or cancel your appointment without notifying us within 24-hours, a non-attendance fee will be charged. Non-attendance fee’s are $50 for Standard Appointments and $75 for Long Long Appointments. This fee is non-rebatable through Medicare. All fees and charges are subject to change and are current at March 2024.

It is important to note that future appointments will not be scheduled until any outstanding non-attendance fees are paid.
